In September 2012, the Libya Summit was officially opened by then Oil & Gas Minister H.E. Abdulrahman Benyezza and NOC Libya Chairman Dr Nuri Berruien. Also in attendance were the Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Omar Abdulkarim, HE Mahmood Futaisi, the  Minister of Industry and Mr Ali Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning.
The inaugural Algeria Future Energy conference took place in Algiers in November 2012 and was  opened with a Ministerial Keynote Address delivered by H.E. Youcef Yousfi, Minister of Energy & Mines, followed by keynote addresses from Mr. Abdelhamid Zerguine, Chief Executive Officer of Sonatrach, and Mr Noureddine Boutarfa, Chief Executive Officer of Sonelgaz.
The Intergas Conference & Exhibition has run in Cairo, Egypt for 6 years, under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, EGPC, EGAS and ECHEM.
